FAO and the World Economic Forum (WEF) intend to explore collaboration in several areas of common interest such as enhancing public-private sector dialogue for increased investment, engaging and leading a data and digital coalition, and promoting work towards inclusive, efficient, sustainable and healthy agrifood systems, including through support to food innovation hubs.
FAO has contributed to discussions around WEF's Bold Actions for Food, Innovation hubs, and the Food Action Alliance.
During the process of the UN Food Systems Summit, FAO and WEF worked closely on the Data and Digital Coalition, including supporting two initiatives produced by the coalition: One Map, and Future Marketplace Playbook.
FAO and WEF co-published a white paper titled "Transforming Food Systems: Pathways for Country-led Innovation".
