FAO in Eswatini
Eswatini joined the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 1971, and the country office was established in the mid-1990s. The FAO is committed to providing comprehensive assistance to its member countries. In Eswatini, this support encompasses Technical Cooperation Programs, regional initiatives, and both bilateral and multilateral programs. For the Country Programming Framework 2022-25, the FAO seeks to mobilize approximately USD 68 million through various projects. Furthermore, FAO Eswatini serves as the Government Accredited Entity, facilitating access to the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
