Eswatini’s Minister for Agriculture Mandla Tshawuka joined FAO and partners at Mkhiweni Inkhundla to mark World Food Day and FAO’s 80th anniversary, spotlighting climate-resilient dams and collective action for sustainable food security.

The Government of Eswatini in partnership with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Secretariat, and the European Union (EU), today launched the second phase of the project Support Towards the Operationalization of the SADC Regional Agricultural Policy (STOSAR II).

FAO highlights collaboration with Eswatini on World Food Safety Day to strengthen food safety legislation and build capacity for sustainable agrifood systems amid rising public health and environmental challenges.
