I am involved in the development of new degree programmes at UG and Graduate levels with a focus on the agriculture value chain and agriculltural entrepreneurship. I am an agriculture graduate with PG training in soil science, agroforestry, and watershed management. The role of ICT in elearning and transfer of technology are critical in our programmes.

Hello All, I am Joseph Lindsay and am coordinator for the Agriculture unit of the University of the West Indies based at the Mona Campus-Jamaica. I am interested in learning how the mobile phone can better assist in information exchange between researchers, extension officers and the farming population, I am looking forward to the discussion.
