:( I want to share with my friends across the world through this forum that one of my ambitions is to persuade the next generation to take on climate change as a moral consideration. The enviornment is precious before all of us and we must do everything possible to preserve its beauty by all means and try to secure a better future for our progeny. Every one of us are familiar with possible solutions and we KNOW to say NO to THE COUNTRIES who are in fact responsible for hazards of climate. In this behelf, conservation, more transportation choices, cleaner and hybrid cars and fuels, renewable energy, reducing the loss of forests and farm lands. We all know how to do it in ways that expand economic opportunity. We know how to waste less and live better. SHAH Masood INDIA

This is my responce to friends from Bangladesh, This service of Kissan Call Centre is totally free and refer to my statement- it is toll free operating communication system throughout India and that too with diverse local dialect of our countries origin. It is so simple in the way that a farmer has to just dial a number 1551 which is later directed to a concerned subject matter specialist who answers the query to the entire satisfaction of the raiser. I hope that will do. If you need more information never hesitate. SHAH Masood Kashmir INDIA.

Kissan Call Centre Indeed we in India have many examples set for the betterment of our farmers and let me share rather add. Recently, government of India has introduced a Farmers Kissan Call Centre which is a toll free (1551) agriculture based advice being given to farmers pertaining to various problems which farmers confront on or off farm. This advice is being given round the clock and remains at the disposal of farmers in their own local dialect with the objective to enhance agriculture production and simultaneously to mitigate the farmers miseries as well..

8) Mr. Islam, i have been telling that this service of Kissan Call Centre is free in absolute terms all farmers have to do is to pose a question on any agriculture based problem and this is taken care by an expert sitting right on his desk and he tries to convince him in his own dialect and that too within a shortest possible time. However if you need more information on KCC i will be making it available only when i reach to my home hopefuly by the end of this month. At present i am attending a seminar in New Delhi and i pay my gratitude to you in showing interest in KCC. In fact, this is an excellent outreach service to rural settlements. Have a nice day and goodluck in the days to come. SHAH Masood India

Hellow to everyone and straight coming to the question that majority of our rural settlements do suffer with illiteracy and when we talk to develop a relationship of agriculture with ICT. To some of my friends in this forum it has sounded them otherwise. let me tell you that information communication takes place through a two step of communication in the way that information first reaches to the receipient who later dessiminates it to the fellow brothern and for that matter our village communities are closely knit who in fact will make this e-agriculture a sucess. Krishi Vigyan Kendra & ICT Application
Submitted by SHAH Masood on Mon, 03/10/2008 - 16:49
In India since independence, its gurus have launched many research oriented projects largely for the overall benefit of farming community and i am sure that no country in this SAARC region does so much. At present, we have almost in every district a functional Krishi Vigyan Kendra which transfers a viable and field tested technologies to the farmers by means of on-campus and off-campus training programmes which are mostly tailor based and having broad based agricultural inputs from our reputed agricultural university faculties. This is followed-up through ICT applications and every detail is being displayed on the web which every Krishi Vigyan Kendra has launched and farmers do have access to the internet which is always there round the clock and newer sleeps. At the stroke of the mid night it can be browsed to have a personal satisfaction on any type of query. So this is an excekllent example of ICT application in agriculture. SHAH Masood INDIA

Indeed, Sapna this forum will help all especially the persons who work close to the ones who live in Rural Settlements and i personally think that to work out agriculture enterprises through developing public private partnership like this one will help in the long run to the people of this sub-continent in particular.
