Svetlana joined the FSN Forum in 2013 to support an extension of Forum activities to the regional and country levels in Europe and Central Asia and to develop global and regional strategies of the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition.
Since December 2020 she acts as the FSN Forum Manager and responsible for the further development of the partnerships and membership of the forum and the team coordination.
She has over 25 years of work experience in complex socio-economic and political environment of countries in transition. She is skilled in cross-sectoral activities and cross-cultural communication with a strong expertise in designing and management of projects/programmes/companies and thematic networks at global, regional and national levels.
Her work experience goes throughout the entire project cycle to enabling environment for sustainable development of agri-food systems, including nutrition, food security and social protection aspects.
She holds M.Sc. degree in Agro-Industries and Food Technology and a Bachelor’s degree on Irrigation and Land Reclamation, with a range of professional courses for a Master’s degree in Management and Business Administration.
