Objective / Goal The main goal of this readiness proposal is to provide inputs to the upcoming concept note and funding proposal on MHEWS in Peru. It will elaborate and validate an action plan to guide the work on the governance framework for MHEWS in Peru. This framework should enable the implementation of the NAP and NDCs’ objectives, emphasizing cross-sector and multi-level integration, regional and local coordination, participation, and capacity building of relevant stakeholders at all levels. This approach is catered towards reducing the vulnerability of both rural and urban communities and safeguarding their livelihoods from the impacts of climate variability and change.
