Resilient Recovery Rapid Readiness Support in Equatorial Guinea

This proposed project will support the NDA in developing a strategic framework and enhancing its
coordination capacity to ensure that COVID-19 response and recovery plans and programmes will contribute
to or even accelerate national climate change targets and global commitments. In line with the GCF predefined results under this Readiness window, the project will:

• Contribute to the implementation of the measures for adaptation and mitigation of climate change
  identified in the National Program for the Green Fund.
• Contribute to develop and guide relevant policies and ecological / resilient programs, within the
  framework of the national anti-Covid-19 strategy.
• Promote efficient systems for the collection of relevant information in agriculture by the NDC, and for
  the programming in the climatic sector. 
• Promote a better coordination between the NDA and the rest of the participating institutions, in order to
  ensure that environmental sustainability and climatic actions are duly taken into account in the
  planning for recovery from COVID-19, in the decision making process and for monitoring purposes.
