Faces of Empowerment: Rural Women Cultivating Change during COVID-19

Through the implementation of the Joint Programme “Accelerating Progress Towards the Economic Empowerment of Rural Women” (JP RWEE), FAO, IFAD, UN Women and WFP are empowering women to become key agents for achieving the transformational economic, environmental and social changes required for sustainable development.

Notwithstanding the many challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic throughout 2020, the JP GTA has enjoyed a rich collaboration with its many partners, which has deepened collective learning and exchanges.
