The Port of Vigo will be the host of the 7th Blue Ports Initiative workshop, gathering focal points and experts from the blue ports network, to discuss relevant topics focused on sustainable infrastructure in blue ports.

As part of the TCP with the Government of Fisheries in India, a series of webinars on blue ports have been proposed to provide basic knowledge and sharing experience with government delegates, associations and fishers from India. The first webinar focused on main concepts of a blue port.

The Blue Ports Initiative team travelled to Tumaco, south of Colombia, to start the first dialogue table with all relevant stakeholders of the fish value chain of Tumaco to start planning the transformation of the port into the first blue ports of the Pacific coast.
