At a global level, the Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism (FLRM) supports mainly the development and implementation of Forest and Landscape Restoration (FLR) efforts through knowledge management, communication and outreach, capacity development, financing and monitoring.

The FLRM created and facilitates a vibrant online Community of Practice (CoP) for Forest and Landscape Restoration with focused sub groups such as:
