Currently implemented projects
The Forest and Landscape Restoration Mechanism (FLRM) is currently coordinating, facilitating and implementing several projects through which it leads large-scale forest and landscape restoration (FLR) initiatives in 16 countries across the globe.
Funds for the different projects are provided by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Ministry of the Environment (BMU), the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Korea Forest Service (KFS) and the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM).
Thanks to these grants, the FLRM helps selected countries to restore degraded landscapes and supports them in the preparation and implementation of national FLR action plans in accordance with their laws, regulations and policy frameworks, as well as other relevant initiatives and programmes.
