Who we are

The JP GTA is run by a central programme coordination unit led by the JP GTA Global Coordinator and two committees established to build synergies and strengthen collaboration amongst the United Nations Rome-based Agencies (RBAs), the European Commission and their partners.

Composed of technical employees from each of the RBAs, the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) provides technical guidance and operational support to the Joint Programme.

Comprising senior representatives from the three RBAs - FAO, IFAD and WFP - and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA), the Steering Committee is responsible for reviewing progress and approving annual workplans and budgets.

The Programme is implemented with the generous financial support of the European Union and the DG INTPA is a close partner of the JP GTA.
