Modern laboratory equipment, consumables, mobile laboratory kits, and a fully equipped boat will enable specialists to conduct on-site assessments of fish populations directly at the lakes. Furthermore, an additional equipment set, including a portable photometer for water quality analysis and a dissolved oxygen meter, was provided to the Centre for Veterinary Diagnostics and Expertise.

The event was organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in collaboration with the Kyrgyz Soil Science Society named after academician A. M. Mamytov and aimed to draw attention to the issue of protecting and improving soil health.
