High-Level Breakfast Dialogue On the Near East and North Africa Regional Investment Framework

This high-level breakfast roundtable session will convene ministers, private investors, international donors, civil society representatives, and restoration experts to explore innovative funding approaches and transformative solutions for ecosystem restoration in the Near East and North Africa (NENA) region. Featuring a special guest, HRH Princess Basma Bint Ali of Jordan, FAO Goodwill Ambassador for NENA, the session will provide a platform to foster partnerships, mobilize resources, and align efforts with the Investment Framework on Ecosystem Restoration and Development Solutions in NENA.   

The dialogue will highlight the Investment Framework on Ecosystem Restoration and Development Solutions in NENA. Discussions will focus on the framework's transformative nature, fostering an investment-friendly environment, mobilizing financial and knowledge resources, and aligning efforts with the framework's goals. This event aims to build synergistic partnerships, enhance policy coherence, and set a new benchmark for regional collaboration and environmental stewardship towards land for just transition in the NENA region in progressing towards the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021–2030.
