FAO led two initiatives to evaluate irrigation systems, crop production, and water productivity across Libya’s regions. Combining satellite imagery and 750+ field surveys, the study identified critical damage to key infrastructures and recommends urgent repairs, system upgrades, monitoring, and training to foster sustainable water resource management.
