Rwanda

Partners

Since joining FAO in 1985, Rwanda has benefited from numerous targeted programs and projects aimed at agricultural and rural development. FAO has expanded collaboration into specialized areas, including climate-smart agriculture, sustainable livestock and aquaculture, and integrated land and water management. FAO works closely with the Government of Rwanda, UN agencies, international organizations, academia, and local partners to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Our communication efforts focus on strengthening partnerships, particularly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, to promote sustainable agriculture and enhance the country's agricultural and food systems.
