During the three days before Typhoon Noru made landfall near Thua Thien Hue and Quang Tri provinces, the FAO team distributed cash and waterproof drums to store food and agricultural assets (seeds, tools) to vulnerable communities. FAO also assisted them to move their livestock to locations safe from typhoon-induced flooding.
