The Africa Regional Review of Least Developed Countries ( 25 February 2021, virtual mode) is co-hosted by the UN Economic Commission for Africa and the Government of Malawi. It is in preparation for the 5th UN Conference on the Least Developed Countries in Doha next January. 

FAO is leading on Session 7: “Transforming Agriculture for Sustainable Development and Food Security in African LDCs”. The keynote speech will be by FAO Chief Economist Maximo Torero and a panel discussion will be moderated by FAO Assistant Director-General and Regional Representative Abebe Haile-Gabriel.
