The 6th ADSF will be held virtually on 25 and 26 February and 01 March 2021 and will be guided by the theme "Harnessing Africa traditional knowledge and food to support sustainable school feeding programmes and systems during COVID-19 response and beyond."

The ADSF Celebration provides a key opportunity to provide a strong statement from Africa on its commitment to scale up Home Grown School Feeding to promote African culture and local food systems in favour of children’s health and nutrition. FAO is a key partner with the African Union to organize this event.
