Mr. Kyaw Swe Lin Director General Department of Planning Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar
Mr. Kyaw Swe Lin is currently working as a Director General of Department of Planning, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Myanmar. He graduated from Yezin Agricultural University, Myanmar with a Bachelor of Agriculture in 1987. After receiving his education, he started his career as a Supervisor of Ministry of Industry (1). He later worked as a Staff Officer with a position of Farm Manager in Myanma Farms Enterprise, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. He has more than 30 years of work experience at different positions during his career in Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. He also accomplished master degree with specialization of Plant Bio-technology from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan in 2005 and, a PhD candidate in Kyushu University. His contribution in development of agriculture sector in Myanmar and formulation of Agricultural Development policy, Strategy as well as Food value Chain Roadmap of Myanmar and Programme are remarkable.
