Gerneral terms of use & netiquette

The forum facilitators reserve the right to edit and/or withhold messages that do not comply with the forum guidelines. Users shall not do any of the following:

1. Use foul language or obscene images. This site is a forum for discussion, and general attacks on a person or idea will not be tolerated.
2. Repeatedly post the same message, or post an unsolicited commercial message to one or more discussions or boards. Such messages are considered spam. Duplicate messages will be deleted or consolidated by the forum moderators.
3. Post copyrighted material without authorization or otherwise illegal material. Users are requested to notify the forum moderators if they identify such postings on the forum platform.
4. Abuse this forum in any way not specifically mentioned above.

Privacy policy

On registration with the Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition (FSN Forum), prospective members are asked to provide personal information such as a username, country of residence, affiliation and e-mail address. No other personal information is collected without the member’s prior consent. Information is stored in the FSN Forum database and is only be used for services related to the FSN Forum. Login details are strictly personal. The FSN Forum Moderation Team reserves the right to use a member’s personal information to post contributions received by e-mail on behalf of the member.

Registered members will receive regular e-mail updates on ongoing discussions and other key announcements by the FSN Forum.

All information shared with the FSN Forum will be identified with the member’s name and affiliation.
