The objectives of this meeting are to (i) confirm the governance and organisational structure of the Pacific RESOLAN under the auspice of the Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council (ASPAC), (ii) review the performance of laboratories in the ASPAC Inter-laboratory Proficiency Trial, (iii) determine the areas of support that could be offered to help improve the performance of regional laboratories, (iv) assess the potential for harmonisation of soil data, and (v) discuss the requirements for further development of methodologies and their interpretation.
