Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture:
Rome, 24-26 November 2010- The Sixth Session of the Intergovernmental Technical Working Group on Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture opened at FAO Headquarters. The capacity to adapt agricultural production systems is becoming a priority, due to climate change and emerging virulent livestock diseases. At country level, governments are committed and take steps towards the implementation of a Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources, and FAO facilitates the process.
