Agricultural Planning, Economics, and Rural Development Research Institute (APERDRI)
The institute is classified in three axes of "research, consulting and education" and the institute always tries to present its research achievements and findings in the form of scientific consultations, scientific and research journals, research reports, books, articles, educational and research workshops and Make specialized databases available to stakeholders, academics and the general public.
In order to research, study and disseminate findings on economic, social, cultural, geographical and political aspects of rural and rural development issues and to optimally utilize the scientific capabilities of researchers across the country, the necessity of publishing the Quarterly Journal of Village and Development in the Research and Study Rural Issues Center was approved and emphasized and after the publication of 6 issues during the years 1987 to 1994, with the necessary approvals and permits, the first issue of quarterly journal was published in 1997. In 2005, the Quarterly Journal of Village and Development gained a scientific-research degree and in 2008 was awarded the title of Top Journal in the 9th Festival of Honor of the Top Scholars on the basis of Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC). This journal continues since the beginning of 2010 under the direction of Agricultural Planning, Economics, and Rural Development Research Institute.
The target readers of the journal are: rural development policymakers and planners, rural development project executives, social science and economics professors and students, and researchers working on rural social and economic issues.
