MARE - Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences, is a research center in the sea area that brings together more than 400 researchers from six Portuguese universities. The universities involved in this new center are the University of Lisbon, University of Coimbra, University of the Azores, University of Évora, Universidade Nova de Lisboa and ISPA – University Institute.
