The China Association of Agricultural Science Societies(CAASS) is a national academic group voluntarily composed of agricultural science and technology workers and relevant institutes, registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and jointly led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Department of China and the Chinese Association of Science and Technology. CAASS is an important force in promoting the progress of agricultural science and technology and the development of agricultural and rural economy in China.
