The Institute of Marine Afairs, Trinidad and Tobago, is a multi-disciplinary, marine and environmental-related research institution, which commenced operations in 1978. The inter-programme research work of the IMA focuses on the marine and coastal environment. The IMA publishes a range of related publications in keeping with its activities. They include: Caribbean Marine Studies (Journal), Annual Reports, Environmental Incident Reports, Research Reports, Technical Reports, Technical Advisory Services (TAS) Reports and Texts.
