The Jakarta Technical University of Fisheries, officially known in Indonesian as Politeknik Ahli Usaha Perikanan (AUP), is a state vocational higher education institution located in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Operating under the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, the university focuses on developing skilled professionals in the fisheries and marine sectors. It offers various diploma-level programs with a strong emphasis on practical training and industry relevance. The university also hosts the iPRIDE4Fish center (Institute of Productivity, Research, Innovation, and Development for Fisheries), supporting sustainable fisheries through education, research, and community outreach. In addition to its academic role, it actively collaborates with international and regional organizations such as SEAFDEC and publishes scientific journals to contribute to the development of Indonesia’s blue economy.
