Founded on June 24, 1908, at Macdonald College by Professor William Lochhead and a group of dedicated biologists, the Québec Society for the Protection of Plants (QSPP) is the oldest scientific society in North America devoted to plant protection.
Still active under its original name, it brings together university and government researchers, agronomists, biologists, forest engineers, technologists, students, and anyone interested in plant protection.
