The purpose of the Asociación Española de Ecología Terrestre (AEET) is to promote ecological research and to this end, our objectives are: to ensure the exchange of knowledge between researchers , support the training of new generations of ecologists and, no less importantly, to communicate and disseminate the science of Ecology , clarify concepts, encourage citizen participation in research activities and promote the responsible application of ecological knowledge in matters of public interest and give due credit and visibility to the most significant contributions in our field . Therefore, the AEET does not intend to limit itself to an exclusively academic activity, but considers it a priority to develop a role of connection between science and society .
