The Universidad de Cantabria (UC) is a public university, created in 1972 by merging several existing higher education institutions, some of which have roots going back to the 18th century. UC, located in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, whose main objective is to contribute to social progress through its commitment to teaching and scientific excellence. It has three campuses, one located in Santander, another in Torrelavega and a third in Comillas.

UC offers undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs across engineering, sciences, health, social sciences, and humanities. UC conducts research in areas such as engineering, marine and environmental sciences, biomedicine, and social sciences, and actively promotes international collaboration and student mobility programs.
