  North-West University from South Africa joins AGRIS!

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) welcomes North-West University from South Africa as a new member of the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS).

North-West University was established in 2004 through the merger of Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education and the University of North-West. It has multiple campuses and offers diverse programs, fostering a multicultural and inclusive academic environment.

By joining AGRIS, the university becomes one of the six active data providers from South Africa. It has more than 2,000 records covering themes such as climate change, sustainability, resilience, and food security, among others. Click here to learn more.
