FAO's interventions in Cameroon are guided by the government's 2020-2030 National Development Strategy, the 2021-2025 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF), FAO's "4 Better Ways" Strategic Framework for 2022-2031, and the 2022-2026 Country Programming Framework (CPF).

These interventions aim to promote economic growth, improve living conditions and access to social services, strengthen governance and environmental measures, while reducing poverty and underemployment.
