Muscat, Oman – FAO Director-General QU Dongyu today inaugurated the Fisheries Resources Survey Programme in the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman at Muscat Port and then toured the Dr. Fridtjof Nansen research vessel, a leading platform for global marine science and collaboration.

The Minister, who will serve as President of the 17th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the CBD, briefed the Director-General on Armenia’s preparations to host COP17 from 19 to 30 October 2026.
