Niger receives IFAD financing to support family farmers in the regions of Maradi, Tahoua and Zinder
The Republic of Niger and the United Nations International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) signed an agreement to finance the Family Farming Development Programme (FFDP) in Maradi, Tahoua and Zinder Regions. The funding comprises a US$24.25 million loan, a $24.25 million grant and an additional $13 million grant from IFAD’s Adaptation for Smallholder Agriculture Programme (ASAP).
