لجنة التنسيق للدستور الغذائي في آسيا - المنسق الإقليمي االصين

تأسست لجنة التنسيق لهيئة الدستور الغذائي في آسيا في الاجتماع الحادي عشر لهيئة الدستور الغذائي الذي عقد في روما، إيطاليا، في تموز/ يوليو 1976. وتم عقد اجتماعها الأول في نيودلهي (الهند) في كانون الثاني/ يناير 1977.

ويعمل المنسق الإقليمي من داخل المركز الوطني الصيني لتقييم مخاطر سلامة الأغذية.

وتشمل الأولويات الرئيسية للصين كمنسق تعزيز المشاركة في اجتماعات هيئة الدستور الغذائي، ودعم تحديد أولويات عمل الهيئة في المنطقة، وتحسين تنسيق مواصفات سلامة الأغذية وتسريع تنشيط لجنة التنسيق من خلال تبادل المعلومات وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة حول قضايا سلامة الأغذية ضمن المنطقة.

كما ترغب الصين أيضا في تعزيز التعاون مع منظمات المراقبة وتحسين التواصل الكفوء والفعال بين الأعضاء الإقليميين ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وأمانة هيئة الدستور الغذائي.

Work on AMR a collaborative effort

In 2016 the Codex Alimentarius Commission established a Task Force on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) which will hold its first meeting in Jeju, 27 November – 1 December 2017. Professor Yong Ho Park will chair the task force on behalf of the Republic of Korea. Who is new in the Codex Secretariat?

Seconded officers provide a valuable contribution to the work of the Secretariat. There are currently five food standards officers in the Codex Secretariat. That is not many to run over 20 technical and regional committees in any given year. Codex Food Additives Committee meeting in Macao, China

This committee establishes or endorses permitted maximum levels for individual food additives. A food additive in Codex is defined as "any substance not normally consumed as a food by itself and not normally used as a typical ingredient of the food". Spices Committee Chennai 6-10 February

On July 5 2013, at its 36th session, the Codex Alimentarius Commission agreed to establish a committee hosted by India to elaborate worldwide standards for spices and culinary herbs in their dried and dehydrated state in whole, ground, and cracked or crushed form. FAO and Japan high level discussions

China National Codex Committee Annual meeting

On December 21st, Codex Secretary Tom Heilandt spoke to the Chinese National Codex Committee at the annual meeting in Beijing that brings together the numerous ministries involved in Codex work.
