Mexican university planning some tasty World Food Safety Day events!
The Private University of the Peninsula (UPP) of the City of Mérida Yucatán together with the School of Nutrition will celebrate World Food Safety Day.
The programme includes a series of activities devised by the nutritionist and teacher Luis Enrique Manzanero, who will carry out a commemorative day for students of the Bachelor of Nutrition.
The first activity is a conference for future nutrition professionals. This talk is called "The importance of food safety and food standards for the nutrition professional" and will take place at the university facilities.
A workshop called “The keys to food safety” for adolescents at a high school in the city has also been organized. The last scheduled activity is a healthy food buffet in the university cafeteria for the entire student body in order to raise awareness about the Day within university community The scheduled activities will be taking place on June 5 of this year.
