World Food Safety Day / Mexican beverages company raises employee awareness

More than 1000 people attended World Food Safety Day events at beverage company Grupo Jumex plants in central Mexico and 300 plants abroad. Topics such as the application of good manufacturing practices, standards that ensure food safety and the technological processes involved in food preservation were addressed. Employees also reinforced their knowledge about methods of analysis to detect food safety hazards, how food becomes contaminated and risk assessment principles applied in the plants. World Food Safety Day / Japan association holds a successful event

The Japan Food Safety Management Association (JFSM) commemorated World Food Safety Day on 7 June in a hybrid event. This year marks the fourth time the event has been held. A total of 436 people participated in the event, both on-site and online.
