I am working on:
Sansadhini process that trains women and excluded groups to work together to be inclusive in a work situation to evolve the concept of feminist business in context of their neighborhood linked with a district development plan.

Dr. Shivani Bhardwaj, founded Self Help Groups and NGOs like Sathi All For Partnerships (SAFP), Pravah, Nirmana and networks such as National Alliance for Labor Rights, Consult For Women and Land Rights (CWLR) and India Alliance for Child Rights.    Currently she is mentoring “Sansadhini Abhiyan and Manch (SAM)”, to strengthen Self Help Group for three communities to support each other. These are single women, queer and care leavers (adult orphans who were in state orphanages) to co create safe spaces while resourcing themselves and their communities. As a member of Habitat International Coalition and Food, Water Security Coalition India she leads advocacy and research. She was on the steering committee of the World Urban Campaign and Gender Equality Action Plan of the UN Habitat. She is on the board of Green Assets, Love Your Neighborhood Campaign and had lasting links with movements and forums on labor rights, environment, wards of the State and Dalit women. 

Dr Bhardwaj is awarded by The NITI Aayog, Ministry of DONER for her social enterprise - the Sustainable Development Zone (See https://safpsite.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/sdgez.pdf) in each neighborhood for equal access to space, services to coexist with men in collaborative peace. Once the visibility of women in managing public spaces and collective farms makes them confident of their roles as productive people, they will be able to claim property in their own homes to be equal resource owners. This work needs to be done along with men and queers as a step towards being in harmony with each other and nature.

 Dr Bhardwaj’s work on mental wellness links support groups to induce training curriculums on behavior change. She has authored publications on training, older adults, youth development, child rights and on addressing the gender resource gap. 

She is member of sexual harassment committee of a research organization, two law firms, Ministry of Food, DOE and CAG Government of India. She consults to fund work to increase resource base of the vulnerable.  Her assignments world -wide on gender-based violence, inclusion, safeguarding and human resource development deepen child rights, human rights and workers concerns. She has conducted evaluation of national programs like the child line and long term livelihood and education projects.

      Please find attached a submission for community engagement for rural transformation from Sathi All For Partnerships. This effort compresses 20 years of our work. Experience of SAFP indicates that  rural and urban transformation should not be de linked. The good practice we have worked on for two decades is for addressing resource gap through district planning that allocates projects that add up as a Woman Resource Zone (WRZ) for sustainable development within the local area plan of a district.
