The Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI) Information Exchange is an opportunity for partners to provide an update on recent progress, hot topics and common challenges that countries encountered in the development and sustainment of their national forest monitoring systems (NFMSs) and associated emissions measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) procedures in major forest regions.

Information Exchanges are typically hosted by the GFOI Office online. The most recent event was held in September of 2025 to cover the activities in the Asia-Pacific, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) regions. For more information, please click here.
