The 2025 series of the Global Forest Observations Initiative (GFOI) Information Exchange took place in early September with great success. Three teleconferences were held with focus on countries and organizations in major tropical forest regions of the world: Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

These exchanges provided an opportunity for GFOI partners to update the community on recent activities, hot topics and common challenges that countries encountered in the development and sustainment of their national forest monitoring systems (NFMSs).
