Plenary 2021 | Global Forest Observations Initiative

The very first virtual GFOI Plenary was held from 7 to 9 September 2021 and was a great success. Thanks to the hundreds of colleagues who joined the event and stayed throughout the discussions. We covered interesting topics, generated interesting conversation and came up with new ideas for how the GFOI community can collectively support tropical countries to better monitoring their forests and associated greenhouse gas emissions to inform their climate action and reporting.
