2021

This technical note describes how the survey tools of the 50x2030 Initiative satisfy the data requirements of SDG Indicator 5.a.1. It provides guidance on the calculation of the indicator and advises on the potential for detailed analysis beyond the Indicator. Section 2 provides an overview of SDG Indicator 5.a.1; Section 3 discusses the 5.a.1 questions in the survey tools of the Initiative; Section 4 deals with the calculation procedures; Section 5 suggests possible additional analysis.

Since 2018, the Agricultural Integrated Survey programme (AGRISurvey) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) provides financial and technical assistance to the Uganda Annual Agricultural Survey (AAS) administered by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS).

2019

Since 2017, FAO has been providing technical and financial assistance to the Government of Senegal to expand the Enquete Annuelle Agricole using the AGRISurvey methodology.
