On World Cities Day, the Brazil–FAO International Cooperation Programme held the webinar “Cities that Feed the Future” to share successful initiatives that promote the right to adequate food in urban settings.

Brazil, Kenya and Sweden underlined the importance of partnerships and financing to strengthen school meals programmes during the CFS annual meeting.

Since 2008, FAO and the Government of Brazil, through the Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ABC/MRE), have maintained a historic partnership in Latin America and the Caribbean under the Brazil–FAO International Cooperation Programme.

As part of the Brazil-FAO International Cooperation Program, the +Cotton project is participating in the event, which seeks to highlight the region's agricultural, cultural, and human riches.
