Within the framework of the Program of Brazil-FAO International Cooperation, the Brazilian Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Brazil(ABC/MRE) is the institution responsible for the coordination and monitoring of the planned activities.
The Program is jointly carried out by the government of Brazil, through ABC, and the Regional Office of FAO, with its main office in Santiago de Chile, as well as the following institutions of the Federal Republic of Brazil: National Fund for Educational Development/ Ministry of Education (FNDE/MEC), Ministry of Citizenship, Ministry of the Environment (MMA), Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply and National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (Incra).
These partner institutions support the implementation of the projects under way in the areas of: School Feeding; Strengthening the Dialogue between FAO, Governments and Civil Society; Institutional Strengthening of Fisheries and Aquaculture; Food and Nutritional Security; Agro-environmental Policies; Strengthening the Cotton Sector; Latin America and the Caribbean without Hunger; Responsible land governance and Public Procurement from Family Farming.
