Projects

Objective: consolidate and strengthen school feeding programs in LAC, especially with a view to changing dietary habits through food and nutrition education actions and the incorporation of fresh and healthy food into schools.

Objective: Build the elements to ensure the sustainability of Latin American cotton production through a system approach, with the collaboration of Brazilian institutions recognized for their knowledge and experience in research and public policy, technical assistance and rural extension, marketing and organization of the value chain.

Objective: to generate an improvement in the governance of land tenure in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, through the adoption of innovative mechanisms in land administration systems.

Objective: Support countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa to respond to humanitarian crises and instances of food insecurity; through actions in response to emergency situations, and to recover and strengthen the agricultural sector. Includes projects which support the Initiative for Latin America and the Caribbean without Hunger (2025).

Objective: Strengthening the process of institutionalization of school feeding programs and the related food security policies, through the use of regional and national mechanisms.

Objective: Contribute to Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) and poverty alleviation of the most vulnerable populations in Latin America and the Caribbean, strengthening the national and sub-regional strategies.

Objective: Contribute to rural sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean, strengthening the capacities of the countries and civil society to develop participative public policies which support family farming.

Objective: Contribute to strengthening agro-environmental public policies as a tool for reducing poverty and food insecurity in the countries of the region.

Objective: Contribute to the sustainable, inclusive development of aquaculture in Latin America and the Caribbean, to achieve the objectives of food security and combat poverty in the countries of the region.

Objective: Contribute to increasing the food and nutrition security of rural communities in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Honduras and Paraguay, through school feeding programs which are strengthened and articulated by means of food products from local and regional family farming.
