How we work

The FAO Investment Centre works with countries, financing partners and other investors to improve the quality and quantity of agrifood investments. 

It draws from FAO’s vast expertise – technical, analytical, data, policy – to provide investment and finance solutions tailored to a country’s needs. 

With five geographic services, the Centre combines global outreach with in-depth country focus. And it works with an ever-expanding range of financing and knowledge partners, including impact investors and development banks. 

Together, our aim is to help countries accelerate the sustainable transformation of agrifood systems to create a better life for all, leaving no one behind.
