DescriptionApproved 30 000 tonnes of non-basmati white rice exports to Tanzania (Zanzibar) through the National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL), as an exception to the export ban on this type of rice in place since July 2023. In addition, it permitted exports of 30 000 tonnes of broken rice to Djibouti and of 50 000 tonnes of brokens to Guinea Bissau through the NCEL, as exceptions to the export ban on broken rice put in place in September 2022.
