Kindly join FAO and OECD for a dynamic panel discussion covering recent trends in responsible business conduct in agricultural supply chains, with a focus on the relationship between commodity markets, trade and forests. The OECD-FAO Business Handbook on Deforestation and Due Diligence in Agricultural Supply Chains, the first global resource to help companies upstream and downstream in supply chains understand how they can cooperate with suppliers and other stakeholders to reduce deforestation in commodity sourcing, will be launched and presented.

The event will feature speakers from the FAO (Markets and Trade and Forestry Divisions), the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct (RBC), along with distinguished panelists from the World Resources Institute (WRI), Ferrero, Ghana’s Forestry Commission, Musim Mas, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, among others.

The development of the OECD-FAO Business Handbook on Deforestation and Due Diligence in Agricultural Supply Chains was an initiative funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) and supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
